Hey everyone,
Just wanted to give everyone an update on Mom/Grandma. She is doing good. Because we all work so much, she is home during the day, and we sometimes try to get her out in the evening. She seems to be sleeping very well out here, and as you all already know, is staying a little longer. I'm glad she will be here for my Birthday in early Feb. Kelly is having a great time staying and playing with Max & Milo...I think there is a little "puppy love" between Milo and Kelly! We have had a great time getting the dogs off of treats...and onto veggies. So much better for them, and they love them. Carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, apples make up their treats, and we keep a bag full of chopped veggies in the fridge to add to their wet food every morning and every night. Who knew????????
That's all for now....

Remembrance.
This Christmas season, we set up an alter here at our house to remember not only Dad...but also Joe's brother Tommy, who died Nov. 8th. We also added Carlotta's picture, on the day she died, Dec. 28th. Here is a picture of our little shrine. Pictures of our loved ones, beautiful candles, and a white poinsettia flower. Simple. Forever in our hearts.
Happy New Year everyone!
Just a couple of random shots I thought I'd share with you all. This first one is taken in Penrose, and as you can see Dad was starting a fire in the stove. Ahhh....the good old days of fires to heat the house!

This second photo was taken, (I think), in Wake Island...in Dad's office. Looks like he was working, pencil in hand.

This is just a random photo of Dad as a young boy. The picture was cropped out from a larger photo of Dad and all his brothers. Pretty cute kid! (Don't forget to click on it to see it better!)

We have REALLY enjoyed having Grandma here with us. She has slowed down some, but still shines bright to everyone around her. We had a nice and busy Christmas and New Years, and are saddened by the death of Grandma's best friend since 1953, Carlotta Francisco, who died exactly four months to the day after Grandpa, on December 28th. Grandma has fallen in love though....with our dog Milo. Needless to say....Milo has also fallen for her! Puppy Love??????
